Terms and Conditions: "12 After 12" Program
Michigan Gas & Electric ("MIG&E") twelve percent rebate is based on a customer's single highest month's supply charge within the first twelve months of service with MIG&E. In order to be eligible to receive the rebate, this original certificate must be returned postmarked no later than 30 days after the date of the twelfth bill. Incomplete or illegible certificates will not be processed and will not be returned. Late claims will not qualify for the rebate. MIG&E is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged or late certificates, postage due, misdirected or undeliverable mail, misprints or typographical errors. Please retain a copy of the certificate for your records. All required information must be received before the rebate claim can be processed. MIG&E and its associated companies reserve the right to audit any claims, request additional information and nullify any claims which cannot be substantiated. Rebate checks will be issued 6 to 8 weeks after receipt of all required claim documentation and information. All rebates will be in U.S. dollars and made payable to the name listed on the utility account. There will be no rebate checks issued to customers whose account(s) have been in arrears, or inactive at any time during the first twelve month of service with MIG&E, or whose consumption generates a rebate check less than $10.
